Let's not forget The Steamer gave up a real home run to Reggie Jackson later in that game. He also threw a wild pitch when he came on to pitch in Game 6 1986. Well that does it...thought I was gonna go into work today but it looks like I'll be headed straight back to therapy.....

Here it seems playing travel ball is as much a status symbol as it is an opportunity to play more games against better competition and get better coaching.

And some of the worst teams are the ones that cost the most to play on. Why? Because when you charge $1800 to play ball, sometimes you get stuck with whatever kid has the parents who can write the check.
