It is now, and it was prior to 2005, but from 2005-2016, they based it out of 2400. They went back in 2017 because it wasn't popular. My nephew graduated in 2008.Isn't the max of the SAT 1600?

LOL that struck me as funnyIt is now, and it was prior to 2005, but from 2007-2016, they based it out of 2400. They went back in 2017 because it wasn't popular. My nephew graduated in 2008.

Same here. I won't say what I got on my SAT, but it wasn't pretty. Back then, I hated school. It wasn't until I got to college that I took it seriously.Hah! How funny. It was 1600 for me when I was 18, and is now for my high school kids. Glad I missed that stuff in the middle.
That is a bad schedule job for sure. There are certainly things high school sports can do to make it better for the kids to be able to do both. The CIF HS softball playoffs and state tournament would have players into July. It is poorly spread out scheduling. DD's HS team got invited to State Tournament but could get enough players that wanted to participate because TB season is in full swing and their TB coaches needed them.
Pretty sure he meant to type June, not July. 2022, 2023, and as scheduled for 2024, section play-offs are over by the end of May and the State play-offs are over the first Saturday in June. That is a bad schedule job for sure. That’s pretty standard then - nothing out of the ordinary.Pretty sure he meant to type June, not July. 2022, 2023, and as scheduled for 2024, section play-offs are over by the end of May and the State play-offs are over the first Saturday in June.
California didn’t have Regional/State championships until 2022 and some Southern Cal High Schools have chosen not to play past Sectional Championships.
HS softball got a late start in California spring 2021 because of Covid so some sections in the state had their championship game June 19th and other sections had it June 12th.
Spring 2021 CIF let players play club and High School simultaneously.
Your right but this is a very dragged out schedule. All of May dedicated to HS softball when the TB world is in full swing. That’s pretty standard then - nothing out of the ordinary.
Either way - I would want to play the regular season with the players that are going to be there in the playoffs.
We witness the opposite. School sports just have them coming home tired and with not enough time to adequately study. They do better in school in the off-season.
