With some small adjustments as far as the swing mechanics, she’s moved on to seeing and timing the ball. Thing are starting to transfer in to her unconscious level of hitting in the box. Similar to when we learned how to drive a car with a manual transmission we know what we’re doing but it takes conscious thought. Now she has to learn how to hit with these mechanics because timing and launch has changed.

I think people who try this way of hitting get stuck between fully mastering the swing and learning how to hit with it. They get frustrated and give up .

Haley doing a good job growing in to her role , still has more to learn about herself and being prepared to bring her best to the surface more often. Hitting is very very hard with lots of variables to it.

Is that her usual setup, e.g. bat starting on the deltoid? Or was that a drill with a specific intent? Looking at her game swings there is some of that I guess..Not that there is anything wrong with it since she lifts it from there, just unique.
