Timing of negative move

And me also, for many years, and i probably took it from here at DFP.

It was a source of contention with the HS coach, "set all back" no movement, except towards ball.

Howard Carrier used the term often. IMO it's a great que to promote rhythm and smoothness.

If Carrier used it then most likely it a crappy que...yup...crappy que...I don't want to hit the pitcher or dance with the pitcher...time the ball...I have said it a thousand times. Those are terrible ques. And Carrier is a linear push push swing all day.

Lol......who has the ball? How do you time the ball? Please explain. Also, Howard did not teach a linear push push swing. My dd never took one lesson from him nor did she ever go to any of his clinics, but I have seen many of his students and they NEVER had a linear push swing...

Your coil is what you use to time the ball!

Vague.......You're the hitter and you coil, but what are you timing it against? You (the hitter) does not have the ball. Who has the ball? Who do you have to wait for in order to see the ball move? Who is moving the ball?
