Timing of negative move

At what point in time do you start timing the ball? No picture needed....just answer the question.

I agree with timing the ball, not just the pitcher (this is something that we have been working on with my DD's 12U team recently, and it's helped them tremendously). However, reading the timing of the ball starts as soon as the pitcher starts moving the ball.

I never asked about WHAT you use....how does this translate into help.....and how is what you're saying differ from others who have already asked and answered?

Exactly right. That's why HC used the team "Dancing with the pitcher". You as the hitter sync up with the pitcher moving the ball through space at some point.
