BradB41, in the last 'swings' of your daughter she was swinging her arms instead of swinging the barrel.

Swing the 'barrel'.

Her leveling process was in need of work. She first lowered her hands, and then swung. She would benefit from learning to keep the hands up and swing the "barrel head" down towards contact. More of a notion of keeping the hands up and turning the head of the barrel down towards the ball.

Straightening the arms before contact. Arm extension occurs after contact with the ball.

Her lead arm goes straight at the first hint of hip rotation.

She does turn nicely. She needs to learn how to maintain the arm angles and guide the bat on the correct plain to the ball.

Let's see if we can make this relatively simple.

First, let's focus on two muscle locations ... the "rear rhomboid" and "rear lat".
