Is it fair to a team/coach if a player goes to a tryout with no intention of joining that team?

16U TB/Elite

Player is committed to another organization and has been offered position on one of 2 teams that she will accept. She wants to go to other tryouts to get the opinions of other coaches and to keep her options open if offers 1 and 2 fall through for some freaky reason.

And what if she doesnt try out and offers 1 and 2 do fall through? Tryouts are meant for both parties to get a feel for the other, it is not a commitment on either part. If the coaches like what they see, they can extend an offer to join the organization, but that doesnt mean you have to accept it.

If tryouts are open to the public or by invitation only and she is invited she has just as much rights as anyone to attend. In fact it is probably good for her to do so. It will keep her options open. That being said I understand the situation that it creates when a team is trying to set their starting line up and alternates. But she does have the right to be there IMHO.
