Ive told so many of my parents about this site too. They think I'm crazy that there's a site dedicated to softball discussion....

Shoot, I don't tell anyone I know for fear they will make me out. Lol

As a former coach and now parent, I find it amusing that the consensus on this forum is usually wacko parents and never crazy coaches. Maybe it is simply because parents out number coaches on any given team? If the numbers were adjusted, I would be willing to bet the percentages of craziness in coaches and parents are equal.

I guess the moral of the story for both coaches and parents is be sure you know who are agreeing to work with for the next season by questioning or any reasonable means necessary.

Totally agree. By far the worst behaved adult I've ever been around in youth sports was a coach. It's the math that makes parents look to be worse. 2 or 3 coaches per team versus 30 so so parents. At the same craziness rate every team has a crazy parent and only 1 out of 10 teams have a crazy coach.
