Hi guys
Looking for drills / tips to keep a big hitter "back" in her swing. She has tons of power
but lately has been over aggressive and out front on all pitches. Winds up topping the ball for weak infield ground outs. Reminding her to be patient, stay back etc isn't working.

any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks

Put a heavy 5 gallon bucket or something she can stride out to. She can go to toe touch with outside of foot half against bucket then as she forces heel plant she has a forward point to push against.
Move bucket in 1/2 in each time until her stride & weight shift looks right and she can feel it.

Any video of her swing??

assuming she's a rughty, put a softball under her left toe. My older daughter, who is now playing dII, had a major lunging issue at the end of U14. We spent the winter working on her swing and someone showed me that drill. If you have a ball under your stride foot and lunge, you fall over.
