Question about crow hop

I saw this video on youtube today. My question is why I had the feeling that this coach is teaching crow hop. Should we do that?

I assume that you mean in the drill at the end of the video where the girls are wearing the bands. Since they are doing that in the context of a drill to get open I don't think it is an issue. I'm not sure I understand the purpose of the bands and the drill in general but that is another subject.

At 12:27 she begins talking about over striding. At 12:55 she says "their back foot comes off the ground and that they're illegal". So the last drill is not teaching crow hop. The Push to Open Drill at the end is a strictly a drill not a delivery.
