I think being sick is a bit different. I am certain they didn't get sick by theirs or their parent's choice.

Has anyone sat a kid during a tournament pool play because they were sick and didn't come to practice during the week?

Only if they were still sick or dragging. I am always over-protective of the girls coming back from injury or sickness. Especially if they are going to play a key role in Elimination.

Has anyone sat a kid during a tournament pool play because they were sick and didn't come to practice during the week?

Illness is 100% excused in my book. I just want them to get better so they can get back in the lineup as soon as is practical.

How about the kid who is "too sick" to participate in warm ups , but then I get totally blasted by the mom because I didn't put her in the game?
