Could be all of those (although 16's and 18's for both are in CA this year) but it also could just be who the org aligns with “politically”..Nobody in our org plays PGF anymore even though at one point the Premier teams were getting Premier invites..

I'm going to guess location. For Example, I don't know many CA teams that qualify for both and do Alliance that aren't part of the organization battle to break PGFs monopoly in the state. I've seen teams earn an alliance berth and get a pgf platinum invite and still choose PGF Nationals.

I just go where the coaches tell me. I have no say in the matter, although given the choice, I'd rather do NE Finest this year.

PGF this and past couple years.

DD1 is in a PGF org. 18u premier.
DD2 is in an Alliance org, but they are not doing Alliance nationals, they'd get whooped.

Prefer CA or CO since they are drivable. 6 hours to SoCal.

Me too..although if I did have a say I would have suggested that they not take a full month off from playing games after CO before playing AFCS.. Might need to find an excuse not to drive the 12+ hours to IN..
