Looking for ideas on setting up something to tunnel pitches through. Hoola hoop rig or something of the sorts. Anyone ever use anything like that? Just want something for the visualization aspect.

Found something that I think will work. Sharing in case anyone else is looking for something similar. Basically it's a dog agility hoop. Kiddo is going to work on tunneling her rise and change(down pitch) through a hoop setup at 15-20ft from the plate.

More pics. Need to figure out a parts list and how to make it go a little higher.

I cobbled together and old rectangular window frame (it was an old vinyl, storm frame) and hung it from our carport where we had a temporary pitching lane. Same concept. We positioned it closer to 10-15' from the plate though.

I like being able to stake it into the ground as that makes it more portable/practical.

Interesting. That looks kind of fun and I'd use one if we had it. We occasionally use strings/straps. I'm sure you've seen that.

Horizontal for drop/rise and vertical for curve.

The frame looks like it is PVC pipe, if so it will probably be fragile.

Yeah, I wonder if there's an iron one with a spike at the bottom. Then you can just shove it in the ground and hammer it deeper when needed.

Too pricey/fancy but the general idea:

Something like this. You can cut out the net inside the inner red loop if you want the ball traveling all the way to the plate. The straps for the yellow target box just hook onto the net, so you can easily adjust the position of the box.

This is a bownet knock off I found on Amazon, but I'm sure you could rig an old bownet you already have. And either make a target, or you can buy just the target box online as well.

These were at a camp my DD attended in December and then proceeded to tell me she would like them for Christmas- my wife looked them up online and they are over 600.00 EACH. Needless to say she didn't get them.
