riseball - not sure what you are looking at but both these pitchers use good I/R in their delivery. In fact, DD has pitched against Jessie (SoCal Choppers) for several years now and she has very good velocity and spin for a 12U pitcher. With that said, IMO the Batbusters pitcher has better mechanics, especially her lower body.

Was pretty sure I saw a push with palm down at 9 and pretty much passing right through midline. Not terrible, but like most pitchers nothing like her glove snap.

The announcer said at the end that the OCBB pitcher pitched every inning of every game. 10 games total. WTH is wrong with these coaches?
Actually, that was the Choppers pitcher. I expect the others got to pitch in the pool games, which are meaningless and whose stats weren't recorded.

Same thing in 16U. Both pitchers (So Cal A's & Beverly Bandits) pitched every inning of brackets.

Guess they didn't get the memo.
Guess you're looking at last year since 16U hasn't started yet this year...

SCA used 2 pitchers last year with a 17/34 IP split - http://premiergirlsfp.bbstats.pointstreak.com/team_stats.html?teamid=80252&seasonid=28876&view=pitching

Stats show a Bandits pitcher threw 1/3 of an inning, but that may be a mistake - http://premiergirlsfp.bbstats.pointstreak.com/team_stats.html?teamid=80204&seasonid=28876&view=pitching

You are correct in that it was the SoCal Choppers pitcher. That doesn't change the point of my original post. As for pool play, you can hear the announcer clearly say she "pitched every inning of every game in this tournament."

I heard them say it several times. We don't know whether they were including pool games or correct if they were.

It is common for teams intending to ride an ace to use them sparingly in the meaningless pool games - I saw it firsthand the previous 4 years and was contacted this year by a coach looking for someone so he could save his ace.
