Yes, agreed that having only one eye will make it hard for her, but there's no reason why she can't play and be successful in rec ball.

Grab a bunch of tennis balls and mark them on opposite sides with numbers 1-9. Practice throwing them towards her and get her to try to pick up the number as the ball is traveling towards her.
