Laying out

Does anyone know any good drills for laying out. DD really struggles with this. When diving back to the bag or making a diving catch she usually just drops to her knees and slides instead of fully extending and laying out. I have spoke to her about this but I mostly get the "I don't know" response or shrugged shoulders when I ask her about it. She can do a normal slide without any problems, it is only the head first / arms extended slide that seems to scare her.

This is where video helps too. Don’t beat her over the head with it but show her what she is doing, she might not even know.

I am also not sure I would be to worried about it if she doesn't "get" it.
