Me. I am judge jury and executioner. But what I think has been verified by enough people for me to be comfortable with the diagnosis. You were one of the consulting doctors when I posted the clip a couple of months ago.

Hopefully, you didn't make to many tweeks with the youngest.. From what I remember there were some good things going on with her core usage.

No...I really am not the over coaching type despite my post count. All I do with her is try to get her to turn the barrel instead of scrunching and swinging flat. This is two weeks old. As long as the pitch is waist high or above she looks OK but when you see her go after a low pitch the flaws start showing...

last but not least--- the older one doing the drop and fling as well. So you all can see what we are working on. I do not want to change much, I like their production, they are both doing great, their coaches are thrilled, they can hit the faster pitchers. Their issue is with the slower pitchers, and with driving lower balls. They both have too much weight shift and flatten as they read. I want them back leg weighted until go. Their T swings do not have the barrel drop, neither do the pitching machine balls, it is only front toss and game swings where it shows up.

Once the weight/corner creation/barrel turn is addressed (and I think they are tightly related) then we will be chilling out on hitting mechanics for a while.

JJ, scrunch as in core usage your trying to remove? So the core is causing her to flatten then swing?

First move is what? Flip the rear elbow up and flatten the barrel then the front leg reaches out.

What if she tried cocking the front leg to tip the barrel and then as the front leg starts forward she pulls the hands back? And what if she used her core to do this?

No-it's the scrunch as slow preaunch alignment tool that I want to remove. As for causing her to flatten and swing, I don't think there is any "cause" other than her brain being wired to do so. if I hooked her up to a shock therapy setup and she got zapped when the barrel flattened pre-launch I think it would get fixed quickly.

Hmmmm. Note to self-get car batteries and wire on the way home.

Five, don't you know? - that was the old truth. Since that time he's added more... newer truths to it.
He launches BOTH Swing3 and Swing5 identically. His FLOAT....is part of....his LAUNCH MOVEMENT. Not the actual launch....but the LAUNCH MOVE. IT is a slow gradual build up to the actual all in launch. That is clearly seen in the video. However....on the fly....and even during the actual launch....he reads a different pitch location in each. And makes the necessary adjustment. One pitch is low and out. The other is in. To adjust to the in pitch...his REAR LEG....pivots....it pivots THE STILL STRETCHED (EVEN THOUGH IT IS PIVOTING) ASSEMBLY....meaning the hip is still resisting....more open....so that....THE SAME LAUNCHED BARREL PATH for all locations....can be....is bent....turned....into the newly discovered pitch location.

So Now the new truth is: Direct/Launch/Direct.

.
Seems to now be saying that the launch is at the ball ... so the new truth may be direct then launch.

During the interim it may be that the launch has an internal guidance system.

Then launch and spend will kick in and it will probably settle down to direct and launch.

Got to say that Noon out did himself here. Well played on his part.

P.s.
This pivoting rear leg prior to the all - in launch... Is nothing more than Jim Dixon's second phase of shift to explode. It occurs between the FbC and the explosion.
