Looks to me like he was fooled, more likely timing than location, and we're seeing the adjustment he made to still be able to barrel the ball. lPost 26 is a good example of how he keeps the inside pitch fair.
Agreed. IMO, there are things a hitter can do with his hands to "fine tune" the adjustments. Not part of the standard swing, perhaps, but available when needed or when fooled. Some will point out the short window of time that is available to make all of these movements/adjustments. But I believe that elite level athletes are capable of many things that others simply cannot accomplish.
