Based on what you've described, near the bottom of any list of suggestions would go yelling or alerting once the play begins / ball is hit.

I think this depends on what level we're talking. Here, 7 year olds play coach-pitch with no count (which can drag for sure) but also with coaches on the field. Yelling at her from the dugout is probably going to be ineffective, but if a coach in the infield (like 10 feet behind her) can gently tell her "NAME that's yours!" it might help.

As for getting out of the way of pitches at her. Does she know to? You'd think that would be instinctual but sometimes we forgot how little 7 year olds know about softball, especially if someone might be prone to hyper-focusing on the swing.
