How much pitching time?

Sadly I watched a young girl get over pitched this last Sunday. I spoke with her tonight and she pitched 5 games in a row at 10U. Way to much. I watched parts of games 3 and 4. She looked like a zombie toward the end of game 4. Didn't stay for the last game and wasn't sure if they would throw her again, which they did. Game 3 had 3 extra innings.

Is it not true that, unlike baseball, pitching fastpitch is a natural motion for the arm and injury is relatively unlikely? My DD "99 has been pitching for @ 3 years and throws for entire games and manages several games (3-5, usually 4) in a tourney weekend. She gets tired, but never is in pain.
