How far of a drive to a tourney before you decide to fly?

Check local airports. May be able to save by flying out of a regional vs ITL airport. Let's all save some $$$
I find that flying out of Trenton vs Philly is not usually cheaper, unfortunately, if you fly Frontier. Plus, they usually only have a few flights per day - usually about 3.

Drove from MN to IA, IL, NE, OH, IN, SD, MO, CO, PA, TX and OK. Flew to FL, NV, NJ, GA and CA. It looks kind of crazy now, but it was fun at the time.

For years we drove to most everything except Colorado and California. Now I’m getting to anything over 5-6 hours and I’m looking to fly. Most of the time due to work and everything for these 3-4 day showcases we need to get there quickly and back home quick.
