Help with drop ball using ir

My dd throws a roll over drop. Does anyone have video of the peel drop using ir. I have hillhouse s videos. And he said to release the ball earlier.when he releases the ball earlier he is pushing the ball, at that point. My dd uses boardmembers way of going down the backside with ball up. How would you throw a peel drop with ir. Any slow mo video of the would help. Thanks

The easiest way is to experiment with a striped ball. Some kids pick it right up without out any cues, and others not so well. For kids that can't get from spiral to 12/6, sometimes a cue of pushing harder with the index finger helps. Also, it's hard to explain, but focusing on snapping the thumb downward as the hand I/R's to palm down might be helpful. You can also cheat and pull the fingers up towards the opposite shoulder.

yea, my dd learned IR by finishing to the glove shoulder. the accidental result was a mean drop ball.
