Upper rear leg hip coiled. Rear leg drives the coil forward.
rear leg turned out, opposite of coiled. rear leg starts driving forward...front leg slams on the brakes and pushes...rear foot does a burn out.
This really shows how the rear leg is pointing to catcher and turned out. I think it might also be helpful to get her rear leg correct in the stance, foot more square (perpendicular) to the plate and and her weight balanced evenly instead of on the back. The stance she starts with might work for some players and can be just a style choice for some players but I think for her it is leading to some of the problems. I would simply focus on getting her in a better stance to start with 1) toes more perpendicular for the back maybe even more inward so she does not cheat back into rear leg turned out, she can still just have her toe touch in front but her heel has to be even or behind her toe not in front of it. 2) weight more balanced between legs not cheating to back leg
maybe a few adjustment in her starting stance will help correct a lot
