Do you?

Oh, my bad you don't.

This DD was instructed too just 'turn the barrel to the ball'. Before we knew any 'better'.
You believe instructing this hitter to use her core would have helped her?
Pretty sure this hitter is using her core.

Wow, glad to see you're coming around.. Now what is causing miggys core usage? Is the core action the same as the young girls?

Looks like his front hip is trying to stay below his rear hip to me. Or his front hip is trying to get under his belly button. Or he is doing Noontime "C" drill.

Not here.
here I'll save everyone alot of time.
I see this as a re-package of 'Front shoulder down and in'.

Nope.
Or his front hip is trying to get under his belly button
Good luck with that...
I see the front shoulder going 'down and in' though.
Add:
But let's identify it as such, because no matter how you slice it, the "chest/shoulder/arm/hands/and BB" are all still part of the "top", that needs to be coiled "around" the "bottom", and the bb is not some new secret ingredient to the sequence....[/

To me it appears this young student was asked to keep a firm front leg and has responded by keeping it too firm. Too robotic. I would like to see some push back instead of landing stiff.

Rdbass, I believe you want energy to flow from proximal to distal segments within the sequence not the other way around.

So the belly button is the proximal and the shoulders/arms are the distal segments.
OK

I'm using your example, that YOU posted. Just because I said 'front shoulder down and in' and you say 'Core/BB/A$$ why is my 'enegy flow' different?

You may be, but the potential for not engaging or sequencing all available core resources may be lacking by using the shoulder down and in queue. IOW's it's like telling someone to stride without identifying proper leg/hip usage.

I don't get the repackage comment.

You are saying telling a hitter to just move the shoulder down and in - is the same thing as using the core to move the shoulder down and in.

What would fiveframeswing think? Would the hitter literally move the front shoulder down and in using the what body part? The chest? the front shoulder?

Not happening in this gif.

Happening in this gif.
What you tell a hitter isn't what I see.:

Has to be(Core) is the same gif that you and TDS posted as your example.

The Core. The proper Sequence that all hitters use.
What would fiveframeswing think?
You got me on that.
