Does this look like normal wear and tear

These photos are DD's CF-3. She hadn't been keeping it clean so I wiped it down this morning and noticed what looked like chips in the finish. should she be keeping this in some sort of sleeve in her bat bag?
or is this just normal wear and tear?

It looks fairly normal to me. My old Demarini EVO has one chip and it isn't even a gamer.

Demarini has a very nice message board. I don't have it book marked, though.

Looks like pretty typical ground dings, similar to those on my DD's CF3. Best thing you can do to minimize the ground damage is to have on-deck/in-the-hole batters run them back to the bench instead of tossing them.
