I was at my brother's for dinner last night and he had the Florida vs. Ohio State game on TV. I watched a few innings and saw OSU's pitcher unwilling to go after the hitters. I know Florida is a good team and hits the ball well but, how in good conscience can you defend leaving a pitcher in through 5 innings with 10 walks!!!!!! You can say she's your ace but, obviously your ace didn't have it that day. 10 walks?? What is this, little league? When you give a team like that THIS many opportunities, it's going to come back and bite you. I do realize OSU was winning 2-0 but, it seemed like Florida had the bases jammed every inning. You got through 5 brutal innings from your ace, bring in the #2 or 3 for another look and for STRIKES. DROPBALL strikes that stay in the ballpark. It's just maddening to me.
