Daughter brand new 2021 Prism

Got my daughter who plays 8U travel softball a 2021 Prism just in time for a tournament this weekend. Today when I got home I noticed the knob was missing the bat length/ ounce plug. Has anyone ever had this experience or think this is a major issue?

Its just a sticker...you're not missing a plug.

You can call Demarini...not sure they will send you a sticker and help you. Think others have had
this happen over the years. I know it looks like crap...it prob didnt get enough glue on it coming off the line.

The only time I ever got a sticker, I went to my manufacturer regional manager who makes the money
off my program buy ins and complained a little...then I got one.

I just lie to my wife and tell her that it was normally a $550 bat.

Here’s a tip from softball dad obsessed with gear. Always buy the expensive stuff when your DW is already mad at you. It won’t change that she‘s mad at you. She’ll still be mad, but you and your DD will have new gear!

My $.02, I wouldn't worry about high end bats for 8U (or even first yr 10U). The kids grow so fast that you'll be lucky to get a year out of them. Plus...it's 8U! There are plenty of mid-tier bats that will do just as good a job at that age, or, if you want a top of the line bat, buy a used one. You will make your wife much happier...until your daughter gets to 12u and up and she has 3 or 4 $450 bats in her bag, ugh.

If I bought expensive gear every time my 13 YO was mad at me I would be living in a cardboard box..

The difference between a $400 bat and $49 bat for a 7 year old is miniscule. Then add on top the missing sticker. Your wife might have a point. Lol
