Combined softball / baseball tournament

Would any of you coaches play in a tournament that used a 4-plex and had 2 fields with baseball and 2 fields softball? I am thinking of hosting a tournament with our baseball organization for 12's or 14's both softball and baseball.

I was just trying to think of ways to spread the work and maybe show off fast pitch players and their skills to those that don't think they have any.

No problem. That is how our local fields are 7 days a week.

Good idea for a small tourney, don't invite more teams than you have field time for

Been to a tournament like that before. Expect the girls to be over watching the boys play, when the girls are in between games, and expect the boys to be over watching the girls play, when the boys are in between games.

And expect ALL of the girls' dads to unhappy that the boys are watching their girls Me included!

If you REALLY don't want the boys watching your dd, don't let her play volleyball. Who ever thought those uniforms were a good idea?

Softball? Heck those boys can probably learn a lot watching.

Good idea and you could get those baseball sisters that dont play ball a good look at what they could be doing.
