I bought the Louisville Slugger Big Daddy as well. Just bought it a few months ago so there have to still be some available. I paid around $80 for it.

Just returned my 4th mitt. It was a 34" Worth Shutout. Went to Play it again sports tonight, no luck. Went to Dick's, tried Mizuno's 34" couldn't get in them, tried a Rawlings hand fit perfect but the biggest was a 32.5", if only they made a bigger one. I might just have to go with a 1st basemens glove.

Why is this so hard? My hand isn't that big.

You may just have to get the one that was closest to fitting and go ahead and start using it. Leather will stretch when you start sweating in it and using it. I bet after a few sessions it will fit better.

I'm telling you, the Akadema Praying Mantis APM66 is a 34.5" mitt that has ample room for my big (10.5" span) hand. And Akadema has a 50% off sale going with code HOLIDAY50 on their website. Ends up costing $57.50. It doesn't have the heaviest padding, but for a bucket dad it's a nice deal. At the price, it's the steal of the century.

Take a look at the All Star CM3000KM knuckle ball mitt. I've never held one but it's a 35" mitt, it's got to be pretty big ! Homerunmonkey has their 20% off Black Friday sale going on right now.

Hey Frenchy:

Any update if the Akadema APM66 glove was big enough for your hands? Same boat now, have a 10U DD, throwing in the 40's. It was fine beforehand just using a cheap Wilson A360 14". But getting those palm stings now. Was thinking of trying that one or the Worth Liberty Advanced that Ken B mentioned. Thanks.

It has worked out great, when I first got it the bottom of my palm didn't quite fit into the glove but after breaking it in it fits good. Break-in was quick too. My only complaint, the glove could use a little more padding around the finger tips. Great glove for the money, I had a 50% off code so for $60, great investment. Not sure it will still work but HOLIDAY50 was the code on Akadema's website.
