Switched teams late January from a club team to a town team that brings in a hitting instructor during the winter, and got a couple privates in with the new instructor as well.

New swing.

Not a good position. Some would call it bat drag. Tell her to try and keep her hands ahead of the right elbow. Go at 50% speed first. I use the cue, " keep your the pentagon" The chest, forearms and humorous sorta form a pentagon shape.\

I don't know how to capture the still photo of the position I am referring to but I am sure someone will.

Same as Shawns dilemma. Notice the energy build and transfer. That’s the problem. The lower gives away the energy to quickly, the upper uses it, the middle is bypassed.

Stance is set up to leak energy up the body early. A little taller and softer stance could help. Load into good posture and stride downhill maintaining good posture. How old is she? Looks to have some pop!

Wondering how many of us, if we came across this player earlier in her career, would have tried to do something to quiet her hands. It's hard to tell from the gif, but looks like she takes her top hand almost completely off the bat several times right up until toe touch.

I do notice her back elbow seems to stay pinned to her side during the swing, it never seems to get near her armpit during the load.
