Backswing or no backswing

My dd has no backswing. She went to Hillhouse, we live near him. She use to have a backswing, but tried no backswing and liked it. Bill didn't say she had to stop the backswing.

Thank you so much Coach Pauly for your insight into this. After years of trying to pitch with very little consistency with control, DD and I decided to try and not use a backswing. This improved DD's control immensely. However, recently her pc has suggested we go to the backswing because she feels the backswing allows gives DD her best speed. Unfortunately, it's at the expense of control. We try and try to utilize the backswing and although it feels like she throws harder, her control suffers immensely.
