At what age do teams starting throwing around the horn after a strikeout (with no one on base, of course)?

I know at younger ages someone will miss the ball and it will just delay the games, which are already tight on time with 65/75 minute time limits.

I'd like to see it on our team (10U) but probably not a great idea.

My DD is a 16u catcher, and still doesn't think to throw around the horn when there's a strikeout. It can be funny at times. So, that doesn't help you at all.

Exactly. We had a lot of parent comments about how our strikeout pitcher (who gets about 12 Ks per 4 inning game) makes it so the other girls don't even touch the ball.

Now I don't care about parent's feelings all that much, but do like to keep the girls a bit loose and ready by touching the ball a bit more.

Second year 10u All-star team or TB team. If they cant do it, they shouldn't be all-stars.

We did it at 8u. Teamy rule was if the ball got louse done for that inning.

That reminds me of my Little League days. Same type of rule.

Makes it a lot more reliable if the players are converging toward the circle while going around, so by the time the last player catches it she can practically hand it to the pitcher.

If you are going to do it, you better practice it because if done wrong it looks pretty bad. If done I like throwing to 1B first to keep C ready for an D3K situations.
