Anyone know the term "hit the top of the ball" when batting?

I'm sorry I mis typed several things.

"If you see more of the middle and top half of the ball" out of the pitchers hand for about the first 5 to 10 ft, and then see more of the middle and bottom half of the ball. Then more then likely the ball will move up for the last 30ft.

"If you see more of the middle and bottom half of the ball" out of the pitchers hand, and then see more of the middle and top half. Then more then likely the ball will end up moving down.
