It will not hit as well as the ASA Ghost. First of all, it cant...secondly, it takes a little more time to heat up.
If you go into it thinking this, you have the wrong mindset. If you go into it looking for a bat that hits with all the other
bats, you will be fine. Again, give it a little while.
Also, you have a Ghost that is .5 or more heavier than the QPro you have. The Ghost has more behind it that the QPro you bought.
If Rawlings made a weird 31/22 drop 9, I bet it would do better for you.
My DD's go to bat is her DM CF8 slapper. It is very hand loaded and it is a 31/21 weighing 20.7oz. She hits the best with it, both power and base hits. I got her an early release USSSA Ghost 32/22 weighing 22.8oz. Swings great in batting practice, not so much against 65 mph pitchers. The ghost weighing way over sticker combined with the weight further down the bat has made the change more difficult to adapt to. i went searching for something in between (QPro). But even with the weight dead accurate 31/21 weighing 21oz, the bat is just dead. Maybe it will open up, but she has used it a lot for three weeks, and it still seems dead. I am returning it through Rawlings performance guarantee and will be ordering a different weight USSSA Ghost and an ASA version as well. Just got to sell the USSSA 32/22 Ghost first..
