It's hard to look at a live video and know what really happened. Maybe she thought is was coing inside and adjusted to a sharp breaking curve. If that's the case, was a pretty good adjustment keeping her hands back long enough to hit it as hard as she did. Would also epplain why she opened up so much at the begining of the pitch right?
