Once again, the NCAA rules are completely effing stupid.
I'm to the point where I'm not even going to bother trying to figure out if the umps got something right with an NCAA game, because it's likely even if they did apply the rules correctly, the result is not what it should be. They've bastardized the game so much with their idiotic rule changes that they've gotten away from the point of it all.
