I wish I could get my DD's to do a lot of the things this little girl is doing. You've got her on the right path, and seem to be headed in a great direction. Your cue about keeping the rear knee inside the foot - and therefore reducing the over-shift of weight to the rear foot - is about the only thing that jumps at me as a "fix". At this age, it shouldn't take long to re-program her. Keep it up!!

When DD and I attended a clinic at Alabama the coach talked about the knees leaking outside the ankles. He advised anytime this happens it robs the hitter of power. They did a drill where the hitter held a basketball between the knees and took swings, hit from a tee and soft toss.
I have used this drill some and IMO a kickball works better than a basketball.

No, I can't. Where is a gif tech when you need one? It's there though. I've begun to see common indicators of this problem.
1. No upper body load with correct barrel path.
2. Barrel drop
3. Front arm bar
If these three symptoms occur in the same swing then you have bat drag.
