hopefully they send you a new one. So it came still in the wrapper and with the dual bar code stickers? Typically the replacement comes with the removable one taken off so it can't be returned (albeit they got liberal on this with the blue ghost)
Just looks like scratches...not cracks. Not everything is a crack or paint crack. Scratches happen as well.
I certainly wouldn't use up the warranty for that. If they can send you a new one while keeping the warantee in place then go for it.
There is a ball mark right in between the two semi circle "scratches". I can catch my fingernail on the scratches and if I pulled I bet the paint would chip away. Its a weird pattern if indeed they are just scratches. but it is hard to tell.
What do you think Core, are you saying go ahead and start swinging it? or wait and see what Easton says?
Catching a finger doesn't mean it s crack. A deeper scratch you can catch as well. Now it depends if you can lift a little. If you
can lift a little, then it a paint issue. I would try to lift...since this is a warranty bat, best to make sure its a scratch or paint. Im not saying
to stick a screwdriver in there and lift, I mean, it you pry hard enough every scratch will lift...hahaha. Just give it a nice little try.
I really don't think its a ball mark. My guess is maybe this took a tumble somewhere and maybe hit up against something which
made the dull mark between the two scratches. Even could have tumbled before the plastic was put on. Who knows.
Remember, people aren't checking bats...especially since this was under the plastic. Not like people are looking at every
one to make sure its perfect. Even after this took a tumble or whatever, with the plastic over it, nobody was gonna see it.
