She's 10 playing up. She's been struggling lately, but finally got the concept of letting the ball get a little deeper. I'm back at work today and she's already got a 3 RBI double, so something's clicking hopefully. Hitting is contagious. They scored 9, 18, and so far 9 more in 3 straight games.

What type of field is she playing on? Just curious, it looks like a baseball field without a pitching mound.


(Nice HE by the 1st pitcher when your DD crushed the ball into the gap, looked more IR the other 2 pitches she hit)

HE? IR? I'm somewhat illiterate on some of this stuff. Sorry. Used to be a normal softball field, but it's a huge facility and they wanted to try and avoid rainouts, so they made it turf up to the outfield grass. Kind of a trend in Houston it seems. Some of the fences are 170. Some are about 210 or so.

HE = Hello Elbow, which the first pitcher demonstrates textbook execution of
IR = Internal Rotation - demonstrated by the second pitcher in clips 2 and 3.
