I'm trying to find options for a HS softball team spring training trip. The team has gone to Disney's Spring Training the last few years and it has been great, but people are wondering about alternatives. Any suggestions/recommendations on options is appreciated. No geographic preference, just someplace that will be warmer than the Chicago suburbs In March.

Come to Tucson. Surely, there would be some HS teams that could scrimmage.
Not really "Spring Training", but I invite you to look at coming to TN this March ( 2013 ). Last spring they had almost 50 HS teams from 8 states come battle it out for the prize. This year they have sent out 1000 invitations to 24 states hoping to expand the tourney even more. Closing date for registration is October 1, 2012. ( it fills up fast )
This is not an average corner HS tourney, I was very impressed on the level of talent that enters and how well run the tournament was.

As Amy mentioned, there are several good tournaments in Tucson and other parts of Arizona that you may want to look into.
Canyon Del Oro HS in Tucson has a good tournament in late February/early March
Boulder Creek HS in the Phoenix ares hosts a tournament in early March
Mohave HS in Bullhead City hosts a very good tournament with team from several states the second weekend of March
I'm sure there are others and Arizona is usually pretty nice that time of year....

Thanks for the suggestions. Team has decided to go to Disney Spring Training again. Basically, it is hard to beat the location, organization, and the "what do we do when we are not playing list" that the Disney option offers.
