Serious question... An upright V is what most consider "arm slot"? I thought the only V that mattered or some might know it as a "power triangle" or some might call it "the house" whatever...At contact. ?

I know exactly what you mean but from the illustration of the V you're referring to I've seen it taught just like it is....Arm slot. And it is a very weak swing when a kid, parent, or coach work on just that. They don't work on what you call torso-engine. I know, not your problem but if a parent is following along and reads this they're thinking 'I gotta work on my slot' or V.The path taken to contact is truly important.
p.s.
I don't personally teach a "power triangle a contact".

So work on "arm slot"?If hitters aren't working on their 'hand path' then they will under achieve relative to what they are capable of.
One of Barry Bond's top swing cues was strongly related to his 'hand path' .... and for a good reason.
