    Anyone ever read the Jen Yee throwing bows thread about inverted elbows causing bat drag? Seems like some good information that could be useful in correcting this flaw.

    Well I didn't get a chance to video her this weekend, I was working 3rd base but she did really well, batted right above .300, 2 singles and a triple along with putting the ball in play just not reaching base safely. She did strike out 3 times though so still gotta keep working, its still early...

    Thanks for the input everyon, we will be seeing live action this weekend in our opening tournament, hope to get lots of game footage. I also don't like the way she lands on her front foot at toe touch and then RE, would like to see it more fluid. Hopefully it won't effect her too much this...

    I agree that her back foot needs to be more square to the target but I wanted to capture her in her natural throwing motion just to make sure. Forgive my ignorance but what exactly is ER and IR, I am assuming external and internal rotation. Some of our girls bring their gloves to their chest...

    I have noticed sometimes that our girls Tee swings do not look like their game swings, I always thought both swings should be the same but most of them do not get it.     Can someone post a video of correct throwing mechanics for outfielders, we are having our 2nd practice this saturday and I want to make sure I am teaching the correct mechanics. Should I videotape each player? Thanks for your help, this site is always constructive for us volunteer coaches.
