    Your Favorite Tee Drill

I agree with PEPPERS. I like to use the T to focus on where to hit specific pitches and to work on eliminating holes in the swing. For example , letting an outside pitch get deep, and driving it to right field. I really like the high T also. I plan on incorporating the face the fire drill.

    Nothings ever good enough approach...

My daughter also plays TB.We drive 30 miles twice a week just to attend practices. Our games are even furter away on weekends. Two days before her rec league no hitter she pitched for her travel team in game 3 of a long sunday afternoon. She looked fantastic. Than came inning number 6.Up by...

    Nothings ever good enough approach...

In a rec league game which was a battle between two undefeated teams my 10yo daughter threw a complete game no-hitter.Here are her stats - 6 IP, 0 HITS, 18 K'S, 4 BB, 0 RUNS. I did expect for her to do very well but this was her best performance by far.She is a gamer.Anyway, after the game her...

Sometimes I wonder what's the point?

My 3 girls ( 12,10,8 ) and I take fitness very serious. I hold them to a standard that I hold myself to. Although they are not push up pro's, they have built themselves from the ground up. My favorite excercise we call " PICK A MOUNTAIN" . We live in a valley so its easy. They vote on a...

    2012 Demarini CF5

What is amazing to me is last night a local 14u travel ball coach was talking about bats with a parent who I could tell had no clue. They were admiring my daughters CF5. I told them how she really liked the bat but that I had concerns because of possible durability issues with the CF5. I pulled...

Im definitely going to try that.

I will never complain about TB costs again.

I better start saving up. Im curious how many division 1 softball players came from middle class families? If you're not showcased...it sounds like you have very little chance.

I will never complain about TB costs again.

Im certainly glad you guys know everything about baseball too. My little brother did throw 95 mph as a jr. in highschool. He averaged anywhere from 20 to 30 radar guns behind the plate as a senior on every apearance. It was a circus. He is currently beginning his second full season in double "A"...

I will never complain about TB costs again.

If you throw 95 mph as a junior in highschool...everything comes to you. If you gotta pay 25k to join a tb team... I just dont know. I would be interested in seeing how many kids they have sent to the bigs in the first round.

Thanx for the info! I hope that your daughter likes her CF5 as much as mine. Im certainly glad that demarini takes care of their customers promptly . There bats aren't cheap . Have a great season!!!

    A dirty, rotten trick play.

Im curious...Do plays like this ever occur at the highest levels under the most competitive circumstances? It doesnt seem like a good idea but this threads title was a dirty rotten trick play. I think the benefit to me by reading this was to know that its possible.I would never do this and never...

    7-8 Year Old Division

This is exactly how we ran our league 2 years ago. We played ASA and it was considered to be competitive. My daughter is a pitcher and I really liked this format. By the end of the season there were some 8yo pitchers who hardly walked anybody(very few though). At the seasons end we selected an...
