Get more aggressive with pitch selection and try to figure out when she throws her first strike. Gotta get the bat off the shoulder when you get close to your pitch. If you get behind, you're getting her pitch.

I like the above. Against a good pitcher you are getting one decent pitch to hit per ab. You had better be ready to hit it and not miss it or take it.

There are pitchers who will dominate prepaired batters.
Even at the very top!

What do you do in the game when the other pitcher is dominating?!
Absolutely positively. I'm a firm believer at every level that great pitching beats great hitting

If you've established that its truly dominant pitching and not just an off day for your team you're screwed. Especially in timed tournament play.

Taking a batter who you've trusted in every situation and getting them to change up ain't happening with a great deal of success. Maybe you get a hit or two. Draw a walk or lay down a bunt, but a dominant pitcher will only give you that. Dominant pitchers don't crack or give in.

Just tip your hat and head back to the dugout

20 years ago when I coached baseball we would do a lot of things that have been mentioned above. Also, it changed a little if we had a couple of days to prepare. The guy may have a great fastball that some guys couldn't hit but he may throw a change in every 3 pitch at bat. We would take until we saw a change with some guys.

Sometimes we would sit on the curve because we couldn't adjust to it. This way we had a better chance staying in the zone and not chasing.

In playoff we had the rule if the pitcher makes two great pitches in a row step out and I would give signals forever. Don't let them get going. You have to train your pitcher that the other team will start doing this also. Just smile and stay on the mound and then make a great pitch and smile again.

I know you're a baseball hater rad but this one of a few of my all time favorite sports moments to see live. Sitting right behind the 3rd base dugout with a life long astros fan. Two of the first 3 Ks are in the hall now. The 98 stros we a tough offensive team. Seeing this unknown kid deal was like watching Mozart play piano. You just tip your hat
