In the dugout, what's her pattern? Sit on the pitches she can throw for strikes. If she's throwing them all for strike, sit on the one 'you' may be able to stroke.

Pitcher's trying to screw up you timing. Try to screw up her's by stepping out once in a while.

I used to think you should shorten up swings and try anything, bunt, run if you get on, try taking a few pitches.

It seems the current thinking states you should just keep taking hard swings or build a time machine and go back and practice more.
