Marcela usually gets a drink after about 25-30 balls..it also allows me to check to make sure all of my body parts are still intact...

....:p

If
1) What do you think hitters use to make their bat "quick?" Magic?
2) What makes one hitter's bat "quicker" than another's?
3) How do measure "quickness?" ....how is it described?
4) Would being "quick" to contact not have any influence on being "quick" out of the zone too?

I know you have limited thinking ability so if you only answer 1 of the 4, answer #3.

Time to contacts the true metric that matters.. context . And I use my eyes... what a concept.

I don't mind shagging either but I have wised up lately and have brought the bag out with me. Previously I would throw them in (like I did when I was a kid) and that resulted in me getting bursitis in my elbow..my body is a mess. My Mom told me I needed to quit lifting such heavy weights in the gym when I was in my 20's...I should have listened

Lol! Yeah I used to do the same thing. Now I carry the bucket with me. By the way, my fancy bucket says Home Depot on the outside of it... DD was pitching last night and I think it took me longer to get loose than it did her. And every year getting down in a catcher's position gets more and more interesting. But I still refuse to sit on a bucket....

It’s all about bat quickness. How ‘fast’ can you get your bat from the launch position to Contact and impart enough force to be a force in the line up.

You should give teacherman a call ;) He tends to talk about something called launch quickness. Maybe you two can compare notes. Sorry, couldn't resist...

you pay double Even triple to be seen. You fight triple the traffic. Cost of living is triple. We are getting the same amount in return. Good enough for ya?

what he calls it and what it is are 2 different things. His path is long. He would be in the BobbyShirer school of hitting.

I found this list of MOI for 32 inch bats. I did my best attempt at physics class and got .088 q for the ghost. (6400 moi). The slow pitch 34-26 was 9200 (.12 q). A 34 inch wood baseball bat is like 12000 give or take. I would guess it to be around q=.14 Or .15 with a softball.

As far as power is concerned, Who had a better season at the plate last year: Alonso or Rendon? What team wins 9 rendons or 9 alonsos all else equal.

Put a padded toilet seat on the bucket and you will never over work those knees again 😺
