Appreciate the your advice anytime, you can stop telling me what to do. I'm not sure there is such thing as a perfect answer, maybe 1 + 1 = 2, but that's why I am here seeking knowledge. Here is an idea. Don't instruct your kid...just let her hit. You are not going to find any perfect answer here..or anywhere.
The black line would have a little arch in it and would continue to arch longer on a inside pitch and straighten earlier on an outside pitch. This is good though. This is the way I see it, in a very very simple way. So many other things happening... excuse my brilliant paint skills, lol.
The bat is the red object, obviously more weight in the barrel than the handle. The black circle is my hands/wrist. The black arrow is my hands going to ball(a little extreme is length I know), the ball is being pitched to me. If i'm in a good FYB position at heel plant, and my core is working properly, lag is created, what happens to the barrel when the knob is "pulled" and hinge is released with relaxed wrist and hands? Does barrel follow hand path (red straight arrow), or does barrel turn around the hand/wrist axis(other red arrow)? It's a 2D pci people, so use your imagination, .
