How have you guys, gals, worked on timing the whip and the push back together? Weve been working on dd's whip, she could use alittle more bend, but the main problem seems to be she's missing the timing of pushing back as she releases the ball. I can feel it, but relaying it on to her hasn't clicked just yet. We've been doing long toss, not worrying about where the ball is going, just emphasizing a couple of things, stride leg pushing back into the throw, and turning that drive leg loose, letting it come into the stride knee. Kinda pulling everything together into the whip. Java commented once in a thread about her "sliding into her front side". I didnt undestand at the time, but that exactly what we're looking for. She's goes from one extreme to the other, either locking out or pushing back too late. Looking for ways to get her to feel that. Ideas??
