Is anyone else seeing advertisements in the threads or on the threads they post? I just posted a new thread with a couple videos and there are advertisements obstructing about half of the video. I use an IPad to post, not Microsoft.......

there was a change to the site that added Google ads. I see the same thing where the videos are truncated on the right hand side. I am using Chrome.
Below is a screen shot of what I am seeing.
I totally understand that it takes money to run a business and more power to the people who own and run this website to make as much money as they possible can from selling ads but they are really putting a damper on the threads, especially the ones with videos. So, is there any other way to display these ads without hindering the threads? I'm not sure who the administrators are, other than Ken Krause, that could possibly move the placement of the ads to a more friendly spot but it would be much appreciated.

it just started a few days ago, I am sure they will work out the kinks so the site can be used normally. And I don't think the goal is to make money, although that would be fine. i think the goal is to cover operating costs.
Agreed! Their placement is annoying and they make things hard to read. Ad Block was added to my home computer which helps. Now it's on to help the iPad.
.....oh and one more thing....I am sure as heck not in the market to date a Chinese woman. My DD is not either. I find this ad highly inappropriate for a softball website in which thousands of girls look at to improve their softball skills. Is this the message you guys are really trying to send? I foresee you losing a lot of viewers really fast if this is not taken care of ASAP. 
I keep getting an ad for the Sneaky Softball Pitching book, has anyone read this yet that can provide a review?

I highly doubt it, first of all I think the viewership is more adult than kid. I would leap for joy if I found one of my kids on the site instead of checking the latest R5 tweets. Secondly, by the time they do check out the site, I think they have done enough websurfing and ran across enough grossness that a site to find Chinese girls is not shocking at all. Lets give it a couple of weeks and see how it gets adjusted before we start saying the sky is falling.
