    Hello Everyone, Coaching 18/U Showcase this season. Roster size is 14. This is a larger roster than the usual 11-12 I have had in in the past. I am wondering if any of you have a sub rotation system you could share regarding playing time. Do you rotate after a couple innings? I know not...

    I have one on my team that is 55 indoors, never gunned her in a game. My other is 48-50. I have seen a couple this year that were probably 55. This is second year 12/U. 57 is very fast at 12/U.

    Coach in fair territory

    Can a base coach enter fair territory after a ball is hit in play in order to coach his runners....Basically I watched a game the other day and every time there was a decent hit (more than a single) the first base would jump in fair territory beyond first base waving his arms to advance to second.

    I think topical ointment is the biggest scam in sports. I am pretty sure she pitched too may innings in a short time and rest/ice is the key. Are you saying at high school level she is the only pitcher they have??

    I did this 2 years ago..I took a core group of kids I coached for several years in town ball and started a first year 12/U A team. Go for it, it is not that bad. You need a field! priority number 1 in my opinion. Set your goals.....as in why are you doing this. Inform parents of your plans...

    Good for her, she was thinking for herself. The first time my daughter shook me off, I was pretty heated with her. In the same at bat, she was right..the kid jacked the next CU I called.
